Getting Here:
Miami (Airport code: MIA) and Huston (IAH) offer several daily flights into San Pedro Sula (SAP), Honduras. The flight to San Pedro Sula is short, about 2 hours. Check with you preferred airline for flight information.

Honduras makes visiting here as easy as possible. When you arrive, you receive a 90-day Visa which can be renewed by traveling to Belize, Costa Rica or Salvador. Is that a problem? No. I've done it and it's a great excuse to have fun and extend your view of life. I can help!

Honduras is served by all major airlines. Check for flight schedules to San Pedro Sula, Honduras, which is located on the Atlantic coast (the banana belt) about 3-hour bus ride from Copán Ruins, elevation 2100 ft.

When you arrive at the new San Pedro Sula airport, you will pass the Hedman Alas bus ticket counter and schedule your trip to Copán Ruins for $20 US. The exchange rate is 8:1 (8 Limps to 1 Dollar). So 400 Limps equal approximately $20, rounded off.

Hedman Alas is a Central American bus line. They offer a very comfortable, and efficient bus service directly from the San Pedro Sula Airport to the village of Copán Ruins. The fully air-conditioned ride takes about 3 hours and offers snack and beverage service, as well as movies. Frequent service is available to bring you safely and securely to Copán.
